1. Open the official Ayushman Bharat hospital search portal.
2. Select your state.
3. Select your district.
4. Check the list of empanelled hospitals.
5. Choose government or private hospital, if this option appears.
6. Select the relevant specialty, such as Urology or Organ and Tissue Transplant, if available.
7. Enter the hospital name you want to check.
8. Enter the captcha code.
9. Click on Search.
10. Contact the hospital’s Ayushman help desk and confirm that kidney transplant is currently covered under its approved package and that pre-authorisation can be obtained for your case.

Documents required

• Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY card, if available.
• Aadhaar card or another accepted government photo ID.
