Hello,

Yes, you can apply for an Ayushman Bharat card. If the patient needs pacemaker implantation or further pacemaker-related treatment, it is covered under the PM-JAY scheme at an eligible empanelled hospital, subject to the availability and approval of the relevant treatment package.

HexaHealth is not a hospital. We have partner hospitals where patients can consult doctors and explore treatment options. Please share your city and state so we can help connect you with a suitable partner hospital for pacemaker treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

How to Check Ayushman empanelled hospital?

  1. Visit the official website: Ayushman empanelled hospital search.
  2. Select the state where you want to receive treatment.
  3. Select your district.
  4. View the list of PM-JAY empanelled hospitals in that district.
  5. Select Government or Private hospital, as applicable.
  6. Select the relevant specialty, such as Cardiology, if available.
  7. Enter the exact hospital name.
  8. Enter the captcha displayed on the screen.
  9. Click on Search.
  10. Check whether the hospital's empanelment is active. Contact its Ayushman help desk to confirm whether pacemaker implantation or replacement is covered under an approved package.

Documents required

  • Aadhaar card or another valid identity proof.
  • Ayushman Bharat card, if already available.
  • Ration card or other family identification documents, if requested for eligibility verification.
  • Mobile number linked to the beneficiary, if available.
  • Cardiologist's prescription and treatment advice.
  • ECG, 2D Echo and other heart-related reports, if available.
  • Pacemaker recommendation or medical reports explaining the need for implantation or replacement.
  • Previous hospital records and discharge summaries, if applicable.

How to get cashless pacemaker treatment?

  1. First, check whether the patient is eligible for PM-JAY benefits.
  2. Visit a PM-JAY empanelled hospital with the patient's medical reports.
  3. Consult a cardiologist to confirm the need for pacemaker treatment.
  4. Ask the hospital's Ayushman help desk to verify the relevant treatment package.
  5. The hospital will submit a pre-authorisation request for approval.
  6. After approval, the covered treatment can be provided cashlessly as per the scheme rules.

To help you further, please share your city and state. We can help connect you with a suitable HexaHealth partner hospital for pacemaker treatment and guide you about the Ayushman Bharat process.

Wishing you and your family good health always.
Warm regards,
Team HexaHealth
