The doctor is extremely casual, arrogant and does not give the right medication and does improper diagnosis. If you want to kill your patient then go to him or else beware.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the treatment my baby received from Dr. Poonam at her clinic. Despite multiple visits, Dr. Poonam showed no recollection of my child or our previous interactions. I had chosen her clinic due to its proximity to my home, but my experience has been far from satisfactory. Previous encounters were unpleasant, with Dr. Poonam being rude and reclusive. However, I continued to visit her clinic, hoping for better care. During our last visit, I informed Dr. Poonam that my baby had a fever and cold for two days, and her vaccination was due. Despite this, she administered the vaccination without consideration for my child's condition. When my baby's fever worsened after the vaccination, I contacted Dr. Poonam who responded curtly and inaccurately, stating that I had not informed her about the fever before opening the vaccine seal. When I asked for guidance on what to do next, Dr. Poonam callously suggested taking my baby to Fortis Hospital, demonstrating a lack of concern for our well-being. I am sharing this experience to warn other parents about Dr. Poonam’s behavior. It's worth noting that I am not concerned about consultation fees. If Dr. Poonam had informed me that my baby's vaccination needed to be postponed, I would have paid the fees and returned later. Her actions suggest a prioritization of financial gain over patient care, which is unacceptable.

Life-Threatening Negligence & Poor Patient Care at Fortis Gurugram I am deeply disappointed with the severe medical negligence, mismanagement, and unethical billing practices at Fortis Gurugram, which put my 79-year-old mother’s life at risk. 1. Life-Threatening Negligence in the Emergency Room On February 9th, around 11:30 PM, a male nurse stopped my mother’s IV to administer a heart-related injection meant for another patient. Only when the other patient’s attendant screamed did the nurse realize the mistake and walk away—without restarting the IV. My brother had to personally request the nursing staff to restart the IV, which had been carelessly stopped. This was not a simple error—it was gross negligence that could have been fatal. 2. Poor ICU Handling & Lack of Communication On February 20th, my mother was moved to the ICU for a central line placement. Her potassium correction and DVT pump were removed without informing the attendants, despite her low potassium levels. She was left without timely food and medication, causing severe distress, until I had to personally reach out to the treating doctor. This lack of communication and delay in critical care is unacceptable in a reputed hospital. 3. Unethical Billing Practices Fortis is overcharging for basic services that are generally included in the room rent. CSSD charges (₹350/day) and linen/laundry charges (₹200/day) were billed separately—a clear case of inflating costs. 4. Fortis' Response – A Cover-Up Instead of taking responsibility, Fortis’ response attempted to downplay the emergency room incident, stating that the nurse was “proactively checking the drip” instead of admitting to the actual error. The issues with food quality, ICU mismanagement, and unjustified billing were met with vague justifications rather than concrete solutions. A Hospital That Prioritizes Profits Over Patient Safety Fortis Gurugram claims to provide top-notch care, but my experience shows a lack of accountability, responsibility, and sensitivity towards patients. Hospitals should be places of healing, not money-making ventures that put lives at risk. I demand strict action against the responsible staff and a transparent resolution. If not addressed, I will escalate this to medical regulatory authorities and consumer forums. Would you trust a hospital where a wrong injection could be given to your loved one? Think twice before choosing Fortis.
