JKCI was inaugurated by India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, with support from the Colombo Plan, which facilitated the introduction of advanced radiotherapy technologies. Since then, we have grown into a 106-bed facility dedicated to comprehensive cancer care, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, oncosurgery, and palliative care.
