On Friday night, May 9th, 2025 I had an accidentally fell on the footpath of Electronic City, Avenue Road, and badly hurt my knees. I went to Kaveri Hospital for first aid. It took some time for the doctors to attend to me. The doctor asked if I had any other discomfort and if I could move my legs. He then instructed the nurse to clean the wound, cover it with cotton, and apply a tape. I was also given a TT injection and informed that an ointment would be prescribed for use the next day. When I went to the counter to pay the bill, I was shocked to hear that the charges amounted to INR 1300 for basic first aid that took less than five minutes. Upon questioning the high charges, I was told that the consultation fee for the doctor was INR 850, and the remaining amount covered the necessary procedures and the cost of the medicine. I refused to pay such a high amount for minimal services. After discussing with their internal team, the person at the counter asked me to pay INR 391. I paid INR 400 in cash, as my phone had drained out and I couldn't use UPI, nor did I have my card with me. I was okay with not receiving the change. After paying the bill, I requested a receipt. I was informed that the original bill of INR 1300 would be canceled only the next day, and the receipt would be sent to me via WhatsApp. I requested another billing for the amount paid but was denied. Additionally, the prescription for the ointment was not given to me as I refused to pay the INR 1300. I urge the hospital authorities to consider compassion, empathy, and altruism too. Basic humanity seems to be lacking, and it feels like the situation of the patient is being misused for monetary extraction. Even after 3 days of the incident i have still not received any receipt for the amount paid .
I am deeply disappointed with the service and treatment I received at Kauvery Hospital's Emergency Room in Electronic City today 03/04/2025. The behavior of both the doctors and staff was highly unprofessional and disheartening. My request for a few minutes with my loved one was rudely denied, and the staff’s attitude was nothing short of disrespectful. At one point, the staff informed us that no treatment would be provided and essentially told us to "let them discharge the patient and go." They dismissed our concerns without offering any proper care or explanation, treating the situation as though the patient's health and dignity didn’t matter. It felt like they were more focused on running a "quotation gang" than on providing any meaningful medical care or compassion. This experience was deeply troubling and frustrating. I did not expect such callous and negligent behavior from a hospital that should be prioritizing patient well-being. I strongly urge the management to review the conduct of their emergency room team and ensure they provide care with professionalism, empathy, and respect.

Arranging attender 24 hr if needed is a must
Experienced confusion re attender and did not have overnight after surgery or next day. Would have made things much better. The attender during admission and surgery name Shiva was a godsend. He did so much but couldn't stay past 8pm and no one else came after. The hsp staff was excellent and caring though far from my home, it was worth the trip. Next time I will know exactly how to plan. Darvin was very helpful and didn't hesitate to help
I was contacted by Bhavana (97738 84125) from Hexa for my case, it was all going well before the admission in hospital. After that she was all about a big liar and what not. She is extremely unprofessional, rude, will not answer your query, she put blocker in the discharge. I had to pay 4K from my pocket to hospital for discharge though it was covered under insurance.
