Dr V S N Rao is a Senior Radiation Oncologist in Vijayawada with a monumental 45 years of clinical experience.

He currently serves as the Director of Medical Services and Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at HCG Curie City Cancer Centre in Gunadala.

His clinical focus is the administration of highly conformal external beam radiation and complex brachytherapy. As an absolute pioneer of radiation oncology in India, he possesses immense, historic expertise in utilizing advanced stereotactic platforms and specialized internal radiation modalities to eradicate aggressive solid tumors.

To master highly complex internal radiation techniques, Dr Rao subsequently underwent specialized training in High-Dose-Rate (HDR) and Pulse-Dose-Rate (PDR) Brachytherapy at elite institutes in Germany.

Demonstrating his extreme clinical authority, he currently serves as the President of the Andhra Pradesh chapter of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AP-AROI).
