Dr. V S N Rao

Dr V S N Rao is a highly respected Radiation Oncologist and currently serves as the Head of Department at HCG Curie City Cancer Centre, Gunadala, Vijayawada.

With over 12 years of experience in Radiation Oncology, he played a key role in India’s first endobronchial brachytherapy procedure and was also the first radiation oncologist to introduce PDR brachytherapy in the country.

In 2001, he took the lead in training medical staff and postgraduate students in HDR brachytherapy at the Regional Cancer Centre, Cuttack, further cementing his role in the advancement of oncological education and practice.

Dr V S N, a radiation cancer doctor, continues to engage in workshops and national-level forums, staying at the forefront of evolving technologies in cancer radiotherapy.

He is an active member of:
