Dear Team, MJ Naidu Hospitals, I am delighted to share my experience after undergoing Meniscus Repair and ACL Surgery at your hospital. I truly feel grateful for the exceptional care and support I received throughout my treatment and recovery journey. A special note of thanks to Dr. Ravi Teja, who specializes in sports injury surgeries. From the very beginning, he took exceptional care of me—not only during the surgery but also throughout my recovery process. Being a working professional, I had only one month of leave due to work commitments and needed to recover within that timeframe to return to Delhi. I repeatedly expressed my concern to Teja Garu about recovering quickly, and accordingly, he took the decision to administer a PRP injection to my knee, which significantly supported and accelerated my recovery. I would also like to sincerely thank the physiotherapy team, who have been an incredible asset to the hospital. They were extremely humble, kind, and caring, taking great effort in supporting my day-to-day recovery process. Generally, this type of surgery requires a minimum recovery period of around two months. However, I was able to start walking with a walker just two days after surgery, moved to walking with a stick within two weeks, and by the fourth week, I started walking independently. The confidence and encouragement given by my doctor played a huge role in this journey. I still remember when he reassured me by saying he was there to look after me if anything happened and encouraged me to move ahead confidently. Soon after, I even started practicing stairs, and everything progressed smoothly. I would also like to acknowledge my family for standing by me throughout this difficult yet rewarding journey. Today, I am back in Delhi, independently managing my work and daily life without support, which once felt impossible during the painful and uncomfortable initial days after surgery. This has only been possible because of the consistent care, monitoring, and encouragement from Dr. Ravi Teja and the entire team. Dr. Ashwini Nelavelli (Dr. N. Ashwini) is one of THE BEST gynecologists in INDIA without any doubt. She is highly skilled in her profession, has great ability to deal with complex cases, is very kind, compassionate, practical, logical, and reasonable. Glad I made the right decision to go with Dr. Ashwini for hysterectomy. I had heavy bleeding and fibroids issues with which I struggled for more than 3 years. After trying different natural things that didn’t help much, met with 5 to 6 gynecologists over a span of 2 years to make an informed decision. After that, I decided to go with Dr. Ashwini. Dr. Ashwini is a real gem. My experience with her for total hysterectomy (done in Feb 2026) was beyond great. Her approach to surgery is comprehensive, clean, and precise, dotting the i’s and crossing the ’t’s. Many doctors have said they will need to do open surgery (due to greater than 5cm fibroids) and removal of ovaries (due to not being in child-bearing age anymore) for me, but Dr. Ashwini has done laparoscopically successfully and neatly, and also preserved ovaries, while doing it all with required due-diligence and utmost caution. This is a game changer for me. Through out the process, doctor explained clearly what she is doing and why she is doing. She made recommendations with long term patient health in mind and not some quick fixes. She answered my vast number of questions with patience and didn’t rush me. This is important to me in addition to doctor’s skillset, especially considering this is a major surgery. I’m lucky to have found Dr. Ashwini. When you meet Dr. Ashwini, you will realize the amount of confidence you start building for your next steps and receive the required treatment and care promptly. I have observed the doctor to be NOT a money-minded person and prescribes only what is needed. The hospital has a cafeteria as well that serves good food, that is helpful for families while staying there for surgeries or when visiting from long distance.
