She is highly skilled in her profession, has great ability to deal with complex cases, is very kind, compassionate, practical, logical, and reasonable. Glad I made the right decision to go with Dr. Ashwini for hysterectomy. I had heavy bleeding and fibroids issues with which I struggled for more than 3 years. After trying different natural things that didn’t help much, met with 5 to 6 gynecologists over a span of 2 years to make an informed decision. After that, I decided to go with Dr. Ashwini. Dr. Ashwini is a real gem. My experience with her for total hysterectomy (done in Feb 2026) was beyond great. Her approach to surgery is comprehensive, clean, and precise, dotting the i’s and crossing the ’t’s. Many doctors have said they will need to do open surgery (due to greater than 5cm fibroids) and removal of ovaries (due to not being in child-bearing age anymore) for me, but Dr. Ashwini has done laparoscopically successfully and neatly, and also preserved ovaries, while doing it all with required due-diligence and utmost caution. This is a game changer for me. Through out the process, doctor explained clearly what she is doing and why she is doing. She made recommendations with long term patient health in mind and not some quick fixes. She answered my vast number of questions with patience and didn’t rush me. This is important to me in addition to doctor’s skillset, especially considering this is a major surgery. I’m lucky to have found Dr. Ashwini. Dr. Ashwini works out of Capital hospital in Poranki, which is reachable for me from Vijayawada. Found the hospital staff (nurses, technicians, aayammas, reception, billing, attenders, etc.) to be kind, caring and reliable.
