Health Cover up to ₹5 Lakh

Ayushman Bharat provides health insurance coverage of up to ₹5 lakh per eligible family every year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation, including dialysis-related treatment.

Depending on the patient's medical condition and the hospital's available facilities, the scheme covers approved kidney care procedures such as

• Haemodialysis sessions

• Peritoneal dialysis (as per approved packages)

• AV Fistula (AV Shunt) surgery for dialysis access

• Treatment of dialysis-related complications, when covered under PM-JAY packages

• Kidney transplant packages at eligible empanelled hospitals, where applicable

Coverage of Hospital Expenses

The approved package generally includes

• Doctor's consultation during admission

No Waiting Period for Eligible Patients

Pre-existing kidney diseases are covered from the first day for eligible beneficiaries. There is no waiting period after the Ayushman Card is generated.

• Doctor's prescription advising dialysis

• Select your District.

• Enter the Hospital Name or search by Nephrology specialty.
