Every cardiac surgeon we consulted in Chandigarh and Delhi said the risk was very high and the heart would need to be stopped during surgery. Dr. Deepak Puri at Paras Hospital Panchkula disagreed. He performed off-pump beating heart bypass surgery without stopping the heart for even a moment. My father's heart was never arrested. He recovered faster than any of us expected and his ejection fraction has improved from 28 to 42 percent in four months. This man does not just perform surgery. He engineers miracles.
My mother had severe mitral valve disease and needed surgery. Dr. Deepak Puri performed minimally invasive heart valve surgery at Paras Panchkula. Small incision, no full sternotomy, and she was discharged in five days. Truly exceptional minimally invasive cardiac surgeon in Tricity.
