Dr V Srinivas is a highly experienced Urologist and General Surgeon, currently practising in Mumbai. With over 42 years of medical experience, he is presently associated as a Consultant at P D Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre.

Previously, Dr Srinivas has worked at reputed international institutions including the VA Medical Centre and State University of New York.

He has been actively involved in research and academic work throughout his career. Dr Srinivas has published over 80 scientific papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals such as the Journal of Urology, Urology, British Journal of Urology, Urologia Internationalis, and the Canadian Journal of Surgery.

He has also contributed extensively to textbooks and medical literature. His published works include Urologic Oncology – A Practical Guide (India Publishing House, 1st Edition, 1997) and the chapter Tumors of Kidney and Ureters in the ASI Textbook of Surgery published by Tata McGraw-Hill, New Delhi.

Dr Srinivas has received several prestigious awards for excellence in research and academic contribution. These include the:

• Cecil M Couves First Prize for Excellence in Surgical Research from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada
• American Urological Association Third Prize in Clinical Research
• Pinnamaneni Vijayawada Second Prize for Poster Presentation at the Urological Society of India Annual Meeting

He is an esteemed member of several national and international medical associations, including the:

• Association of Surgeons of India (ASI)
