Dr Sunil Janardhanan Unnithan is a highly experienced ENT Surgeon with 30 years of clinical expertise. He is currently associated as a Consultant at Kerala ENT Speciality Hospital.

He worked as an ENT Surgeon at the District Hospital, Kerala ENT Research Foundation, Reem Medical Centre Sharjah, and Ideal Medical Centre Sharjah.

His research work includes the study “Allergic Rhinitis in Thyroid Dysfunction”, accepted by Dr MGR Medical University in 2001 for the award of MS ENT degree.

His ongoing research focuses on endoscopic ear surgeries, nasal polyposis recurrence and comparative studies of coblation versus conventional thyroidectomy.

He has been an invited speaker and faculty at major conferences including AOICON, SZENTCON, KENTCON and IFOS.

Dr Sunil has also played a vital role in academic leadership and medical administration. He is the AOI Kerala State President for the term 2023 to present, and has served as Secretary AOI Kollam Branch and Office Bearer of IMA Kollam Branch.
