Dr Vivek Chopra is a senior and well-respected Anaesthesiologist and Pain Management Specialist with 35 years of clinical experience. He is currently associated as a Senior Consultant in Anaesthesiology at Amrita Hospital.

Prior to this, he served as a Consultant in Anaesthesiology at Batra Hospital and Medical Research Centre.

His special clinical interests includes:

1. Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols
2. Paediatric anaesthesia care, trauma management
3. Laour analgesia for pain-free delivery
4. Regional pain management techniques for acute and chronic pain using ultrasound guidance
5. Percutaneous tracheostomy for long-term airway management
6. Awake fibreoptic bronchoscopy-assisted tracheal intubation

He completed his MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College under the University of Pune in 1991, followed by:

• MD in Anaesthesiology from the same institution in 2001
• Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine from the Delhi Pain Management Centre, New Delhi in 2013

He is actively participated in academic conferences organised by ISA Delhi. Continuing his academic engagement, he served as Faculty at ICACON 2025 held in Jodhpur.

Dr Chopra is a member of:
