Dr. Salil Garg

Dr Salil Garg is a well-known cardiologist currently associated with the Delhi Heart and Lung Institute. He has 33 years of experience in cardiology and worked as an expert in different cities in India. He was previously associated with Command Hospital, Pune. 

Doctor Salil Garg was a part of the team that implanted the first Micra (Intracardiac Pacemakers and TAVR at AHRR). He has performed more than 5000 angioplasties (Complex-CTOs, Left Main and Bifurcations and Peripheral angioplasties including Carotids) and implanted more than 700 devices (ICD, Pacemakers and CRTs).

He has contributed to handling numerous complex medical cases in several hospitals. He is known for his attention to accurate diagnosis and for treating patients empathetically. The speciality interests of Dr Salil are heart failure, angioplasties, complex-CTOs, left main and bifurcations and peripheral angioplasties.

Dr Garg did his MD in General Medicine from Armed Forces Medical University, Pune in 1999. He also completed a DNB in Cardiology from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2008. He has also participated in research work and various workshops under the cardiology department and published many papers.
