A specialist in Ophthalmology with a rich experience of 13 years currently working in Delhi Eye Centre. She has extensive experience doing cataract surgeries, including phacoemulsification, topical procedures, and cataract surgery with a small incision. Under topical anaesthesia, she has completed more than 5000 phacoemulsification procedures (only with numbing eye drops without injection, pad, and bandage). She is skilled in handling all challenging cataract cases. In addition to SBK LASIK, C-LASIK (customised LASIK), and iLASIK (Bladefree or Femto-LASIK + customised LASIK), she has completed over 3000 LASIK surgeries. She has experience performing surgery for conditions like tunnel infection, infective keratitis, and Mooren's ulcer. Over 500 corneal tear repairs, post-corneal tear cataract surgery, excision of foreign bodies from the cornea and anterior chamber, amniotic membrane grafts for chemical damage, cyanoacrylate glue, and anterior chamber construction for corneal perforations have all been done by her. She has handled numerous complex medical cases and is known for attention to detail, accurate diagnosis and treating patients with empathy.
