Clinical Experience

Dr Amar Singhal built his early career across PGIMER Chandigarh, GB Pant Hospital, Irwin Hospital, and AIIMS New Delhi before practising as a Specialist Cardiologist with the Ministry of Health in Abha, Saudi Arabia from 1986 to 1989.

On returning to India he held consultant roles at National Heart Institute, Jaipur Golden Hospital, and Maharaja Agrasen Hospital. In 1998 he completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, clearing USMLE and holding a New York State Medical Board limited licence during this period.

He subsequently served at Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi for a decade before taking up his Director role at Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute in 2007. He also served as a Senior Research Fellow of the Indian Council of Medical Research for two years.

Research and Academic Contributions

Dr Amar Singhal has participated in research work and workshops throughout his career and has published papers in cardiology.

He served as a Senior Research Fellow of the Indian Council of Medical Research and has been a regular participant in academic forums in interventional cardiology. His name was included in the Who's Who in the World 15th Edition in recognition of his contributions to cardiac medicine.
