my 15 year old son would bleed excessively even from small cuts and developed large bruises from minor bumps during sports. his school suggested we investigate. dr jaswanthini performed comprehensive coagulation studies and diagnosed him with mild factor xi deficiency. she educated us about precautions before any surgeries or dental procedures and provided documentation for his school. her child-friendly explanation helped my son understand his condition without fear. she also connected us with other families managing similar conditions which was emotionally helpful
