Professional Experience

Dr Bashir began her oncosurgery career at Fortis Memorial Research Institute and completed specialised fellowships at Tata Memorial Hospital and Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

She then served at Apollo Hospitals as Consultant Surgical Oncologist, where she was conferred Associate Professor and co-founded the Colorectal Cancer Division, before returning to Kashmir to work at Mubarak Hospitals and Ujala Cygnus Hospital.

She is the Founder of the Centre for Breast and Colorectal Cancers and Non-Cancer Disorders (CBCCD), Kashmir, and currently serves as Director of Surgical Oncology at Paras Health (since October 2025).
