Dr Shabnam Bashir holds MBBS and DNB qualifications. She completed a Fellowship in Advanced Robotic Surgery at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, New York, USA, in 2016, and a Fellowship in Colorectal Cancer Surgery at Tata Cancer Research Memorial Institute, Mumbai, in 2016.

She also completed PGDAE at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, in 2005.

She has completed FMAS in Minimal Access Surgery and is a Certified PIPAC Therapy Specialist, having undergone training at the 1st Middle East International PIPAC Workshop in Dubai.
