Asha Hospital, Prayagraj – A Nightmare of Negligence! My wife was admitted to Asha Hospital, Prayagraj in an emergency after suffering seizures post-C-section. She was in the ICU for 3 days and then in the normal ward for 2 days before being discharged. The level of carelessness we experienced was unbelievable and life-threatening. Here’s why I strongly advise against trusting this hospital: 1. NO REAL EMERGENCY SUPPORT At the time of discharge, I asked for a direct emergency contact in case my wife’s condition worsened. Instead of giving a doctor’s number, they gave me the reception number, promising they would connect me if needed. But when my wife’s BP dropped dangerously to 81/54, despite calling multiple times, they refused to connect me to a doctor, saying the doctor would talk only after OPD hours. How is this an emergency response? 2. WRONG MEDICAL ADVICE – RISKED MY WIFE’S LIFE After discharge, I was concerned about continuing Nicardia 10mg (3 times a day) because my wife’s BP was already low (117/76). I called the hospital to confirm whether to continue or adjust the dose. After several calls, they finally let me speak to a doctor, who insisted the medicine wouldn’t cause a drop. But after taking it, my wife’s BP fell to 81/54, putting her life in danger. If a hospital can’t give proper medical advice, what’s the point of having doctors? 3. FOOD NEGLIGENCE – SKIPPING MEALS FOR AN ICU PATIENT While in the hospital, my wife was on heavy medication, yet they skipped her lunch and dinner one day. The hospital had a strict policy against outside food (claiming it was risky) and charged us for patient meals, yet they failed to provide the most basic nutrition when she needed it most. How can an ICU patient recover if the hospital itself is depriving them of food? 4. MEDICAL STORE NEGLIGENCE – DELAYED CRITICAL ICU MEDICATION One evening at 7 PM, the ICU doctor handed me a list of medicines to buy for the night. It was a routine procedure, and I purchased them from the hospital’s own medical store. But due to sheer negligence, the store missed one crucial medicine. At night, when ICU doctors started administering the medicines, they realized it was missing and called me to bring it immediately. I rushed to the hospital’s own store, but the staff refused to check the list and arrogantly claimed they didn’t have it. Even after I explained that my wife was in the ICU and urgently needed it, they didn’t care. I was forced to rush outside the hospital late at night to find the medicine, wasting precious time while my wife was in critical condition. After buying the medicine from outside and giving it to the ICU doctors, I went back to the store and asked for the same medicine again—this time, the staff actually checked the list and suddenly said, “Yes, we have it.” This is the kind of careless and irresponsible treatment they give to ICU patients! FINAL VERDICT: A HOSPITAL THAT SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED Asha Hospital, Prayagraj, claims to provide quality care, but my real-life experience tells a different story: ❌ No real emergency response – Even in life-threatening situations, they refuse to connect you to a doctor. ❌ Wrong medical advice – Their negligence almost killed my wife. ❌ Skipping meals for ICU patients – They charge for food but don’t provide it. ❌ Careless pharmacy staff – Missing critical ICU medicines and forcing families to suffer. आशा हॉस्पिटल के समस्त वरिष्ठ डॉक्टर सर् से विनिति है कि, हॉस्पिटल स्टाफ का मरीज की तरफ जरा भी ध्यान नही दिया जा रहा है ओर न ही मरीज को खाना टाइम पर दिया जाता है । सो में सभी नागरिक जन को सूचित करना चाऊंगा की अपने परिवार के सदस्य को यहां भर्ती करने से पहले अच्छे से सोच समझ कर ही करवाये ।
