Across his career, he has successfully performed over 2,000 major uro-oncology surgeries, including advanced robotic procedures.

Dr Venkatramani has made significant contributions to academic research and evidence-based medicine.

He was a key contributor to the landmark RAZOR trial, the world’s first phase 3 multicenter randomized trial comparing open versus robotic radical cystectomy, published in The Lancet in 2018.

He was also the primary investigator of a randomized trial comparing monopolar and bipolar resection of bladder tumors, which received the Best Paper Award at the Urological Society of India Conference in 2013.

His academic excellence and thought leadership have been recognized through multiple prestigious awards, including:

• Shaliwahan Singh Rawal Gold Medal for Best Student in Urology at CMC Vellore
