Dr Suresh Vijan is a highly distinguished Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist in Mumbai with 35 years of extensive clinical experience and a pioneering legacy in interventional cardiology.

He holds several first-of-its-kind achievements to his credit including implanting the first AICD in Bombay, performing the first multivessel angioplasty, the first left main drug-eluting stenting in Mumbai, and being the first in Asia to perform AXXESS bifurcation stenting. He introduced the technique of septal ablation for hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy in 1997 and has been at the forefront of interventional cardiology with intracoronary stents since 1993.

Dr Suresh G Vijan currently serves as a Consultant at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Bandra West, Fortis Hospital, Mulund, and Dr Suresh Vijan Clinic, Khar West, Mumbai.
