He holds several key academic and leadership roles. Dr Parikh is the Chairperson of the Under-40 Sarcoma Surgeons Group under the International Society of Limb Salvage.

He is a Founder Member of the Sarcoma Education Foundation, a non-profit initiative dedicated to training young orthopaedic oncologists.
