Dr Kishore Kumar Vatwani is a distinguished Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Surgeon in Kolkata. He is currently serving as a Senior Consultant with ASG Eye Hospital, Sreebhumi.

With an impressive 33 years of experience, he has been associated with Global Hospital Institute of Ophthalmology, Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Sankara Nethralaya and Chitwan Medical College.

His speciality interest is diagnosing any eye condition along with management of all glaucoma.

Dr Vatwani, after finishing his MBBS from the University of Calcutta in 1992, undertook his:

Dr Kishore, an eye surgeon, notable papers are:

• Congenital simple hamartoma of the retinal pigment epithelium with depigmentation at the margin in an Indian female
• Analysis of choroidal thickness on optical coherence tomography in a patient with sudden-onset bilateral myopia, macular striae, and shallow anterior chamber after topiramate use

A topper of the M.S. (Ophthalmology) examination from the University of Calcutta in 1998, he earned a merit certificate for his outstanding academic performance.

His dedication to community eye care in Rajasthan earned him a Government of India recognition certificate on Independence Day in 2005. The same year he received his MRCS (Edinburgh).

He is an active member of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS)
