Dr. Umesh Khandelwal, at Soni Hospital, Rambagh, was her medical oncologist. He explained the entire process of adjuvant chemotherapy and hormone therapy in a way that was easy to understand, even for an elderly person. He paid close attention to her overall health and even suggested diet modifications to help her cope with the treatment better. His holistic approach truly helped her through a very difficult period.
