With 28 years of experience, Dr Johann Christopher is a Consultant - Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and Gurunanak CARE Hospitals, Musheerabad, Hyderabad. He also serves as an executive member of the Asian Society of Cardiac Imaging.

He then finished his DNB in Cardiology from CARE Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. He was trained in Cardiac Imaging at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Additionally, he holds a Mini Fellowship in Cardiac Imaging from George Washington University, USA.

• Cardiological Society of India (CSI)

He has an extensive list of national and international publications. Notable works include Coronary Collaterals by Transthoracic Echocardiography in Coronary Artery Disease (2004), Demonstration of Recanalized Left Coronary Artery After Thrombolysis (2005), and Contribution of Sudden Cardiac Death to Total Mortality in India (2012). 

Dr Johann was honoured for his research on Transthoracic Evaluation of Thalassemic Patients with Respect to Ferritin Levels in 2005, Kolkata, and on Transthoracic Evaluation of Coronaries at IAE 2004, Hyderabad. He also received the prestigious AV Gandhi Gold Medal at CMC Vellore for original research. 

Fluent in Telugu, Hindi, English, and Tamil, Dr Christopher has contributed significantly to cardiac imaging research and education.
