Dr Vijay Kumar is a distinguished Cardiologist in New Delhi with over 33 years of experience. He currently serves as Director at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla.

Academically, he also serves as the Programme Director for DNB teaching and training at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.

He played a key role in establishing the primary angioplasty programme and a chest-pain pathway early in his career at Fortis Escorts.
