Prof (Dr) N Karthik Nagesh is a Neonatologist and Paediatrician in Bengaluru with 44 years of experience.

He is currently serving as the Program Director of Paediatric Centres of Excellence at Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal and Aster RV Hospital, J P Nagar.

He specialises in neonatal respiratory care, surfactant therapy, neonatal ECMO, and intensive care for multi-organ dysfunction.

He launched neonatal extracorporeal membrane oxygenation services and continuous renal replacement therapy for critically ill newborns with multi-organ failure.

Neonatal Sepsis and Critical Care

He manages complex neonatal sepsis, nitric oxide therapy, and intensive care for premature infants with severe systemic complications.

Perinatal and Neonatal Transport Medicine

He developed networked neonatal retrieval and transport services, including air ambulance transfers for critically ill newborns across the region.

He completed advanced neonatal intensive care fellowship training at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospitals in London and the Hope Hospital, University of Manchester.
