Dr. Ramkumar Jayaprakash

Dr Ramkumar Jayaprakash is a highly accomplished Intensivist and Critical Care specialist associated with SPARSH Hospital, Sarjapur Road. He has over 22 years of overall clinical experience, including more than 18 years dedicated exclusively to critical care medicine.

With a strong foundation in anaesthesiology and advanced intensive care training, he is known for managing complex and critically ill patients using evidence-based and outcome-focused approaches.

Dr Ramkumar completed his:

• MBBS from MS Ramaiah Medical College in 2004
  
• MD Anaesthesia from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College, Sion, Mumbai in 2009

He further pursued IDCCM and PGFCCM from Christian Medical College, Vellore and earned the prestigious European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) from Amsterdam. He is also an American Heart Association-certified BLS and ACLS provider and instructor.

Dr Ramkumar has previously served as HOD at Manipal Health Enterprises and Senior Registrar at CMC Vellore, and is currently working as HOD and Lead Consultant – Critical Care at SPARSH Hospital, Doddakannelli.

He is an active member of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) and Indian Medical Association (IMA).
