Dr. Atul Bhaskar

A specialist in Orthopaedics with a rich experience of over 31 years is currently working in Fortis Hospital Vashi. He has participated as faculty in Ponseti training programs in India and abroad and he has one of the country's largest collections of clubfoot. He has also studied the relapse pattern in clubfeet treated with the Ponseti technique. He was a trailblazer in the conservative treatment of clubfoot and its recurrence after the Ponseti procedure. He is one of the few authors in India who has reported the findings of clubfoot treatment. He has also done extensive research on hip dislocation in cerebral palsy which has been published and has a special interest involving minimal access surgery in paediatrics. He has handled numerous complex medical cases and is known for attention to detail, accurate diagnosis and treating patients with empathy.
