He currently serves as a Consultant at MMI Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Lalpur and also runs his own clinic, Jai Gastro and Liver Clinic, Budhapara.

He completed his MBBS, followed by an MD in General Medicine, a DM in Gastroenterology from Christian Medical College, Vellore, and a Fellowship in Advanced GI Endoscopy from CMC, Vellore.

He was awarded the Gold Medal in Pharmacology during his MBBS and received the Best Thesis Award during his DM training.
