Dr Shahid Merchant is a highly experienced Interventional Cardiologist in Mumbai with 43 years of experience, currently practising at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Fortis Hospital, and Dr Shahid Merchant Cardiac Clinic.

He specialises in Interventional Cardiology, with extensive experience in treating coronary artery disease, complex coronary blockages, heart failure, structural heart conditions, hypertension, and other cardiovascular problems through advanced interventional procedures.

Dr Shahid is Founder member and 1st Consultant to be appointed at the prestigious Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai. He has completed specialised training in Interventional Cardiology through a fellowship at the University of Rouen, France,
