He has completed an AO Fellowship in Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Freiburg, (Germany) and Wales (UK) and a Fellowship in Cleft and Cranio-Facial Surgery from Cleft-Children International, Zurich, Switzerland.

He has participated in research work and various workshops under the same department and has published many papers.
