With 36 years of experience, Dr P C Gupta is a Clinical Director and HOD, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery & Vascular IR at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, and CARE Hospitals Outpatient Centre, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. He is the President-Elect of the Vascular Society of India and the World Federation of Vascular Societies council member.

Dr P C Gupta earned his MBBS degree from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, and completed his MS from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He then completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Nagoya University School of Medicine, Japan, in 1997.

Dr Gupta enhanced his expertise with advanced training in Carotid Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA, and Complex Aortic Surgery at the DeBakey Department of Surgery, Methodist Hospital, Houston, USA. At Miami Vein Clinic, USA, he was trained in venous interventions and developed his skills in vascular ultrasound at the Maimonides Medical Center, New York, USA. Additionally, he received training in complex aortic interventions at the VA Hospital in Dallas, USA, and specialised in endoscopic and thoracoscopic aortic surgery at IRCAD, Strasbourg, France.
