Dr P C Gupta is a highly experienced Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in Hyderabad with 38 years of clinical experience in vascular surgery, endovascular interventions, carotid surgery, aortic surgery, and venous disease management.

He currently serves as Clinical Director and Head of Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills.

Dr Gupta is the President-Elect of the Vascular Society of India and a World Federation of Vascular Societies council member. He has performed the world's first reported carotid aneurysm surgery during pregnancy and is a co-author of the Global Vascular Guidelines for CLTI management.

He has over 25 scientific publications in leading international journals and has received the Best Paper Award for Distal Bypass in Buerger's Disease and the SVS International Scholar Travel Grant. He is known for his pioneering vascular surgical expertise and evidence-based endovascular approach to complex vascular conditions.

Aortic and Carotid Vascular Surgery

Dr P C Gupta provides expert surgical and endovascular management of complex aortic and carotid conditions including aortic aneurysm open and endovascular therapy, thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms, aortic dissection, carotid surgery including endarterectomy, carotid tumour and aneurysm surgery, and cervical rib and thoracic outlet syndrome management.

Venous Disease and Vascular Access

He performs specialised venous disease procedures including varicose vein treatment through laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation, and conventional surgery, deep vein thrombosis thrombolysis, thrombectomy, IVC filter placement, and vascular access for haemodialysis including AV fistula, vein transposition, fistuloplasty, central vein angioplasty, and AV grafts.

Peripheral Vascular Disease and Vascular Emergencies

He also provides comprehensive management of peripheral vascular disease, diabetic foot and non-healing ulcers, vascular trauma, and vascular emergencies through advanced surgical and endovascular techniques.
