Dr Vivek Kumar did his graduation from Nalanda Medical College and Hospital in 2006. He also completed his post-graduation with MD in Internal Medicine  from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2009. He has also participated in research work and various workshops and published many papers.

Later, he completed his DM in Cardiology from the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi in 2012 and Fellowship in Adult Interventional Cardiology from the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions in 2013.

Dr Vivek Kumar is trained in advance techniques like TAVI/TAVR and Mitra Clip from Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA and then has done TAVI preceptorship from Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, USA. Additionally he has received advanced training in complex angioplasty from Japan.
