Dr Raghunath S K is a highly experienced Uro-Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon in Bangalore with 33 years of clinical experience in urological cancer surgery, laparoscopic urology, and robotic surgical oncology.

He currently serves as Senior Consultant and Director of Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at HCG Cancer Centre.

Dr Raghunath has performed over 4,000 uro-oncological surgeries and is the first uro-oncologist to establish a dedicated uro-oncology department in South India at HCG Cancer Centre.

He is the first in South India to perform robotic radical cystectomy with total intracorporeal ileal neobladder surgery and robotic perineal radical prostatectomy.

He is the Founder-Chairman of the Global Prostate Disease Foundation, has served as Principal Investigator in over 20 clinical trials, delivered a TEDx talk on Robotic Surgery, and serves as Visiting Professor at Minnesota University, USA.

Prostate and Kidney Cancer Surgery

Dr Raghunath S K provides expert surgical management of prostate cancer including nerve-sparing robotic radical prostatectomy, robotic perineal radical prostatectomy, salvage prostatectomy, hormone therapy, and immunotherapy for advanced disease.

He also manages all stages of kidney cancer through robotic partial nephrectomy, zero ischaemia nephron-sparing surgery, robotic radical nephrectomy, and targeted and immunotherapy for metastatic renal cell carcinoma.

Bladder, Penile and Testicular Cancer Surgery

He performs robotic radical cystectomy with total intracorporeal ileal neobladder, nerve-sparing cystectomy, TURBT, intravesical BCG therapy, radical and partial penectomy, robotic video endoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy, radical orchidectomy, and robotic retroperitoneal lymph node dissection for testicular cancer.

Adrenal Tumours and Minimally Invasive Urology

He also manages adrenal tumours including phaeochromocytoma and adrenocortical carcinoma through robotic and laparoscopic adrenalectomy, and provides minimally invasive urological procedures.
