Career and Clinical Experience

Dr Ellur completed his MS in Orthopaedics from MS Ramaiah Medical College and Hospitals, Bangalore in 2011, followed by a dedicated Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics at SPARSH Hospital, Bangalore.

He joined SPARSH Hospital as Senior Registrar in the Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine before being promoted to Junior Consultant in January 2013 and then to Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon in October 2014.

Dr Vikas Ellur has independently managed OPD and IPD for a broad range of paediatric conditions throughout his career.

His clinical focus includes cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, paediatric trauma, congenital deformity correction, and paediatric hip disorders including DDH (Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip). He is also experienced in managing limb deficiency, metabolic bone disease, and paediatric bone infections and their sequelae.
