2. Clinical Fellow in Liver Transplant Surgery and Minimal Access- Department of Surgery, New York Presbyterian Hospital, USA under Dr Jean Emond from Jan-Feb 2008
3. Clinical Fellowship and training  for 7 months (November 2008 to May 2009) – Royal Free Hospital in HPB and liver Transplant with Professor Brian Davidson
4. Interactive Training with International Faculty at Shanghai General Hospital on Hernia in 2014

He is also an active member of the International HPB Association, the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI), and the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES). Dr Gandhi was awarded the 2nd prize at the Best Paper Session at MASICON 1998.
