Dr Manoj Jain is a highly experienced General Surgeon with a strong focus on gastrointestinal, laparoscopic, bariatric, metabolic, and robotic surgeries.

With over 28 years of experience, he is currently associated as the Director at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. 

He has also served at K B Bhabha Hospital, Bandra, Hinduja Hospital and Raheja Hospital.

With more than 7,000 laparoscopic surgeries performed, Dr Jain has played a key role in transforming surgical outcomes, especially in bariatric and metabolic surgery.

Dr Jain completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai in 1998, followed by:

• MS in General Surgery from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 2002
• DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2003
• Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India in 2007
• Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery from St Vincent Hospital, South Korea in 2007
• Fellowship in Advanced Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery from University Hospital Heidelberg, Germany in 2009
• Fellowship in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery from Kaohsiung University, Taiwan in 2012
• Fellowship in Robotic Hernia Surgery from Cleveland Clinic, USA in 2019

He is actively involved in academics and is a teaching faculty in laparoscopic surgery at the Johnson and Johnson Ethicon Institute.

He is the Founder of the Centre for Advanced Laparoscopy and Obesity Surgery (CALOS) and continues to train and mentor general surgeons across India.
