Dr. Ravi Shankar

Dr Ravi Shankar is a specialist in Neuro Surgery with a rich experience of 23 years currently working in Medanta Hospital, Lucknow. He has handled numerous complex medical cases and is known for attention to detail, accurate diagnosis, and treating patients with empathy. 

Dr Ravi has expertise in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery (Open and Endovascular), Skull Base Surgery, Endoscopic Neurosurgery, and Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery. He is also an active member of the Neurological Society of India (NSI) and the Delhi Neurological Association (DNA).

Dr Ravi Shankar did his MBBS from V S S Institute of Medical Science and Research, Sambalpur in 2002 and MS in General Surgery from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur in 2006. He also completed his MCh in Neuro Surgery from GIPMER, New Delhi in 2011. He has also participated in research work and various workshops under the Neuro Surgery department and published many papers.
