Dr Sayan Das is a Head of Department and Senior Consultant in Radiation Oncology at Manipal Hospitals, EM Bypass, Kolkata, with 17 years of experience in advanced radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery, with his MD in Radiotherapy from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

He is recognised as the first Radiation Oncologist in Eastern India to introduce Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation using Interstitial Brachytherapy and Total Skin Electron Therapy, marking landmark contributions to cancer treatment in the region.
