Dr Sunandan Basu is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Manipal Hospitals, EM Bypass, Kolkata, with 25 years of experience in brain aneurysm surgery, complex spine surgery, craniotomy, and functional neurosurgery.

He holds an FRCS in Neurosurgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and the European Certificate of Neurosurgery from the European Board of Neurosurgery, making him one of the few doubly internationally certified neurosurgeons practising in Eastern India.
