Dr G Swarna Sree is a highly respected Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Hyderabad. With 22 years of clinical experience, she is currently associated as a Consultant with KIMS Sunshine Hospital, Begumpet.

Previously, she has been associated with reputed institutions including Zoi Hospitals, Niloufer Hospital, and Vivekananda Hospital.

She has independently conducted over 1,500 deliveries and performed more than 1,000 laparoscopic surgeries, including complex procedures such as hysterectomies, myomectomy and endometriosis surgeries.

• Best Paper Award at the Surgical Skills International FOGSI FIGO Conference (2017) for Minimally Invasive Hysterectomy for Large Fibroid Uterus as First Author.
• Prize Paper Award at the FOGSI National Conference (2019) for Surgical Curve of Gynaec Endoscopic Surgeon in Laparoscopic Hysterectomy as First Author.
• Best Visiting Faculty Award from Malla Reddy Medical College for a talk on Hysteroscopy.

Her national academic contributions include papers and posters at major conferences such as:

Internationally, she has presented papers and posters at FIGO Paris and RCOG London, covering advanced topics such as:

Dr Swarna Sree has served as Faculty and Speaker for multiple training programs, including hysteroscopy and laparoscopy workshops.

She has conducted live surgical demonstrations, endosuturing training for postgraduate students and hands-on surgical workshops across leading medical colleges and hospitals.

She has also organised accredited Continuing Medical Education programs on postpartum haemorrhage and labour analgesia with TSMC credit points.

In addition, she plays an active role in clinical governance and mentorship.

She has been a member of morbidity and mortality committees, facilitated regular audits and case discussions, mentored DNB students.

She also led protocol development teams for emergency, ICU and operation theatre services.
