All the reviews are fake and planted. I myself a physician doctor was facing issue with pain along left scapula with numbness along medial side of left arm. Having trusted Dr Naik of his spinal speciality I consulted him. He being a doctor never even examined me and completely dependended on MRI finding, which can always fool you.. I underwent 2 cervical discs replacement with the hope against hope of getting relief. However post surgery ( exuberant ) still the problem remains same. The medical progress sent to the doctor remained unanswered. A genuine advice to all the patients to think twice before planning for a spinal surgery by a doctor more inclined towards his bank balance and his hospital commitments.

I strongly recommend everyone to beware of this doctor. Her behavior is highly unprofessional and mentally disturbing for patients. Instead of providing proper guidance and treatment, she unnecessarily creates tension and stress. even a normal patient visiting her is told things like “you will have cancer, be prepared” – which is extremely irresponsible and harmful. I fail to understand how such a person has been given the responsibility of being a doctor. I sincerely request the Head of the Medical Association to urgently review her conduct and take appropriate action, including suspension or cancellation of her license if found guilty.

A Frightening Brush with Misdiagnosis at PSRI – A Cautionary Tale My experience at PSRI Multispeciality Hospital under Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singhal (Gastroenterology) was nothing short of a nightmare—one that nearly jeopardized my health, peace of mind, and possibly even my life. Dr. Singhal subjected me to a series of expensive and largely unnecessary tests, including Mantoux, IGRA, and HRCT Chest, in an attempt to diagnose tuberculosis (TB). Despite the IGRA and HRCT results clearly showing no TB, he insisted that I had the disease based solely on a positive Mantoux test—a test that, as even medical students know, only indicates exposure to TB, not active infection. Crucially, he failed to recommend a Gene Xpert test, a far more conclusive and WHO-endorsed diagnostic tool for TB. His “treatment plan”? He prescribed RCINEX 600, a powerful anti-TB drug regimen known for its serious side effects, including liver damage and jaundice. Prescribing such medication without a confirmed diagnosis is not just reckless—it’s dangerous. As if that wasn’t alarming enough, Dr. Singhal proceeded to declare I had Crohn’s disease, again without any conclusive tests or biopsies. He began aggressively pushing Infliximab (Remicade), an expensive immunosuppressant used only in advanced, confirmed cases. He even outlined a plan for six injections a year, each costing over ₹1 lakh, requiring hospitalization—a plan that seemed more financially motivated than medically sound. Feeling overwhelmed and rightly suspicious, I consulted doctors at AIIMS, where a simple Sigmoidoscopy and tissue biopsy (including Gene Xpert and Histopathology) conclusively ruled out both TB and Crohn’s disease. In hindsight, it is terrifying to think what might have happened had I not sought a second opinion. I could have undergone months of toxic treatment, weakening my immune system, harming my liver, and dealing with the mental trauma of believing I had two serious illnesses I never actually had. This raises urgent questions: How many patients have blindly followed such flawed diagnoses and suffered irreversible harm? Are financial incentives driving medical decisions at PSRI? Where is the accountability for such cavalier, dangerous practices? This is not just medical negligence—it borders on malpractice. When patients enter a hospital, they place immense trust in the expertise and ethics of their doctors. What I encountered instead was a textbook example of how medical greed and incompetence can destroy lives. I strongly caution anyone considering treatment at PSRI, especially under Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singhal. Seek second opinions. Ask questions. Do not hand over your health blindly. Our healthcare system needs better checks—and patients deserve better than this.
I am deeply grateful to Dr. Upadhyay for the exceptional care and expertise he demonstrated while treating my father during his complex medical journey. From the very first I met him, he displayed a unique combination of deep medical knowledge and genuine empathy, which made a world of difference to our family. Dr. Upadhyay took the time to explain every aspect of treatment plan with patience and clarity, ensuring that I felt informed and reassured. His attention to detail, proactive approach, and willingness to go the extra mile provided us with immense comfort during a challenging time. Beyond his medical expertise- which I felt was of the highest order - it was his kindness and personal connection that stood out. He treated my father not just as a patient but as a person, always showing warmth and encouragement. We will always be grateful for his support and dedication. Highly recommended for anyone seeking compassionate and expert medical care.
