A specialist in Ophthalmology with a rich experience of over 35 years is currently working in Namokar Eye and Oculoplasty Centre. She has consistently been a brilliant student and has won awards including the coveted National Talent Search Scholarship and Open Merit Scholarship. She later completed advanced training in cosmetic oculoplasty at the famous Barraquer Institute in Barcelona, Spain. To further enhance her knowledge and abilities, she completed an observation at the Wilmer Eye Institute, John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA, in 2013. With foldable/multifocal/toric IOL insertion and phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia (without injection), she has extensive expertise doing cataract procedures and is skilled in managing all types of complex, advanced cases. She also handles Squints and glaucoma procedures. She is an expert in facial aesthetics, oculoplasty, and cataract surgery, among other things. She has handled numerous complex medical cases and is known for attention to detail, accurate diagnosis and treating patients with empathy.
