Dr S Bhattacharjee is a highly experienced Radiation Oncologist in Bangalore with 36 years of clinical experience in advanced radiation oncology, CyberKnife radiosurgery, brachytherapy, and image-guided radiotherapy.

He currently serves as Senior Consultant at HCG Cancer Centre.

Dr Bhattacharjee has treated over 60,000 patients with chemotherapy during his decade at Thakurpukur Cancer Hospital, Kolkata, and has managed over 400 patients using CyberKnife technology in the last 12 years.

He is the recipient of the Excellence in Radiation Oncology Award by the Indian Society of Oncology in 2022. He has made a significant breakthrough with the discovery of Immuvac, an immunomodifier that received US FDA approval in 2006, now widely prescribed for patients with compromised immunity.

He also provides chemotherapy administration and comprehensive cancer management for a wide spectrum of cancer types, along with cranial irradiation for acute lymphoblastic lymphoma and multidisciplinary cancer treatment planning with a focus on reducing side effects and improving patient recovery.
