Dr. Anand Deodhar

Dr Anand Deodhar is an experienced Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon based in Aurangabad with 40 years of expertise in open heart surgery, cardiac transplantation, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, and complex cardiothoracic procedures.

Dr Deodhar currently serves as Senior Consultant at United CIIGMA Hospitals and Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Dr Deodhar holds an FRCS from the Intercollegiate Board, UK, and a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Ireland and UK, reflecting his internationally recognised advanced training in cardiac surgery.

He has performed over 5,500 open heart surgeries and is the first surgeon in Maharashtra to perform a heart transplant. He also pioneered the Cadaveric Organ Donation Programme in Aurangabad and Marathwada, organising the first cadaveric multi-organ donation in the region in 2016.
