Dr. Arvind Chopra

Dr Arvind Chopra is working as a Director and Chief Rheumatologist at the Center For Rheumatic Diseases. He has 47 years of extensive experience and worked as an expert in different cities of India. He was previously associated with Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College and Hospital, Pune, Inlaks and Budhrani Hospital, Pune, etc.

He has contributed to handling numerous complex medical cases in several hospitals. He is known for his attention to accurate diagnosis and for treating patients empathetically. His special interests include osteoarthritis, the most common form of arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.

He was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding contributions to Medicine and Society on ‘Vijaya Diwas’ (National Armed Forces Victory Day) by the Karad (District) Civic Administration, in 2015.

Dr Chopra did his MD in General Medicine from AFMC, Pune in 1982. He also completed a DNB in General Medicine from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 1993 and FRCP from London in 2017.

He has participated in research work and various workshops under the same department and has published many papers. He is an active member of the International Journal of Rheumatology (IJR), the Indian Rheumatology Association (IRA), etc.
