Academic Contributions and Achievements

Dr Pradeep B Moonot performed the first Total Ankle Replacement (H3 TAR) in India and the first Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for bunion and flat foot in India. He has performed the largest number of ACL reconstructions in the NHS (UK) in a single year and has been involved in over 1,000 joint replacements.

He is an Executive Member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) and a recipient of the AOFAS Travelling Fellowship (2018). He has chaired the Foot and Ankle Symposium at WIROC (2014 and 2015) and served as Convener of the Bombay Orthopaedic Society Foot and Ankle Course (2014–2016).

He has authored and contributed to 300+ national and international publications and presentations and serves as a reviewer and co-editor for several prestigious international orthopaedic journals.

He has also collaborated on the development of new knee replacement implants and led research projects with Pfizer, Bayer, DePuy and Smith and Nephew.
