Dr Nikhilesh Borkar is a highly experienced Surgical Oncologist in Mumbai with over 22 years of clinical experience. He is currently associated with Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital and Dr Nikhilesh Borkar’s Cancer Clinic.

He has served at Cambridge Breast Unit Addenbrookes Hospital and P D Hinduja National Hospital.

Dr Borkar has assisted and independently performed over 800 major general surgical procedures and more than 1500 major oncological surgeries involving adult and paediatric patients.

Academically, Dr Borkar graduated with 4 distinctions and was a topper in Medicine.

He has been actively involved in multicentre research trials, with notable research work at Tata Memorial Hospital on intraoperative bone analysis for mandibulectomy and at Cambridge on chemotherapy avoidance in hormone receptor positive breast cancers.

He has attended numerous national and international conferences and continues to contribute to academic learning and clinical research.
