Dr M Srinivasa Rao is a highly experienced Interventional Cardiologist in Hyderabad with 45 years of clinical experience in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, complex coronary interventions, and cardiac electrophysiology.

He currently serves as Regional Clinical Director and Senior Consultant at CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills.

Dr Srinivasa Rao has extensive expertise across the full spectrum of interventional cardiology including complex coronary angioplasty, TAVR, MitraClip, cardiac device implantations, and 3D electrophysiology mapping. He has presented at EuroPCR 2015 in Paris, AICT Asia PCR 2019 in Singapore, and the Indian Heart Rhythm Society 2019.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, and Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, USA. He is a Gold Medallist in MD General Medicine and a recipient of the First Class distinction in Final MBBS.

Dr M Srinivasa Rao provides expert interventional cardiology care for complex cardiac conditions including coronary and peripheral angioplasty, complex coronary interventions, acute aortic dissection, acute pericarditis, dilated and restrictive cardiomyopathy, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

Structural Heart Disease and Device Implantation

He performs advanced structural heart interventions including TAVR, MitraClip, and preoperative cardiac care for heart transplantation, along with cardiac device implantations including physiological pacemakers using His bundle and left bundle branch pacing, ICD, and CRT-D.

Cardiac Electrophysiology and Rare Cardiac Conditions

He also provides specialised cardiac electrophysiology services including 3D mapping and radiofrequency ablation, and manages rare cardiac conditions including Barth Syndrome and Andersen Tawil Syndrome.
